CreatorHQ — Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in through a third-party provider, we receive the profile information you authorize.

Billing information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVC, or bank account details. Stripe collects and processes your payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy. We receive limited billing details such as the last four digits of your card, card brand, and billing address for record-keeping purposes.

Content and platform data. When you connect third-party accounts to CreatorHQ, we access data from those platforms in accordance with the permissions you grant. This includes:

• Gmail (Google): Email metadata, message content, contacts, and labels you authorize via the Google API. We access only the scopes you explicitly grant. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• YouTube (Google): Channel analytics, video metadata, subscriber counts, and engagement data you authorize via the YouTube Data API. Subject to the same Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use requirements.
• Instagram (Meta): Business or creator account profile data, media, insights, and engagement metrics accessed through the Instagram Graph API and Meta Business Platform. We access only the data categories you explicitly authorize. Data received from Meta APIs is handled in accordance with Meta Platform Terms and applicable data use policies.
• TikTok: Creator account profile data, video metadata, engagement analytics, and audience insights accessed through the TikTok API. We access only the scopes and data categories you explicitly authorize. Data received from TikTok APIs is handled in accordance with TikTok's API Terms of Service and developer data use policies.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with CreatorHQ, including pages visited, features used, timestamps, device type, browser type, and IP address.

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve CreatorHQ
• Aggregate and display your creator analytics across connected platforms
• Process billing and manage your subscription through Stripe
• Send transactional communications (account confirmations, billing receipts, security alerts)
• Diagnose technical issues and monitor platform performance
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use data obtained from platform integrations for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing CreatorHQ functionality to you.

We share information with third parties only as follows:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe handles your billing data under its own privacy policy.
• Platform APIs (Google, Meta, TikTok): We send authenticated requests to these platforms on your behalf to retrieve data you have authorized. We do not share your data from one connected platform with another.
• Infrastructure providers: Hosting, database, and CDN providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request.

Data obtained through Google APIs (Gmail, YouTube), Meta APIs (Instagram), and TikTok APIs is used solely to provide CreatorHQ features to you. Specifically:

• We do not transfer platform API data to third parties except as required to provide the service
• We do not use platform API data for advertising or user profiling
• We do not store platform API data beyond what is necessary for service functionality
• You may revoke platform access at any time through your account settings or through the respective platform's permission management

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and any stored platform data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as billing records). Cached platform API data is refreshed periodically and deleted upon disconnection of the relevant platform account.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data at rest, access controls, and secure authentication. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Export your data in a portable format
• Disconnect any linked third-party platform at any time

CreatorHQ is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

CreatorHQ is operated from Canada. If you access the service from outside Canada, your information may be transferred to and processed in Canada. By using CreatorHQ, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of CreatorHQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
